Anxiety Disorders and Panic Attacks
This Certificate workshop provides delegates with CME points and a hands-on exploration into the use of clinical hypnosis in the management of anxiety and panic attacks. Delegates will practice techniques for inducing hypnosis and for deepening hypnotic states. The aim of the workshop is to teach delegates the benefits of incorporating these powerful therapeutic techniques into family practice and how to benefit personally from the experience of hypnosis. Hypnotherapy incorporated alongside more conventional approaches provides a valuable alternative with an effective reduction for anxiolytic and antidepressant drug interventions (potentially reducing the risk of psychological or physical dependence to these compounds). In addition delegates will also discover the importance of providing an effective means of helping a patient deal with the underlying causes that are perpetuating their symptoms.
