The Certificate is an examined course and on completion students can progress to the Diploma (Part 2) [Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis]. The course is designed for your success. The aim of the LCCH is to train competent, ethical and confident hypnotherapists, who can deal safely with the enormous variety of symptoms - physical, emotional or psychological, and sometimes spiritual for which your patients / clients will seek your help in the hypnotherapy consulting room.

Our students are taught to compare, contrast and critically evaluate the various techniques and psychotherapies in an integrative way. This ensures that you can assess the treatment which is appropriate for the individual and the condition itself. We do not profess to teach medicine, but we do provide a background of medicinal knowledge through regular lectures given by our medical staff.

In addition, there will be the opportunity for you to explore and incorporate your existing skills. We take the view that our students (as well as your future clients) are individuals and that you should keep your options open. To this effect you will also find subjects like - past life regression, lucid dreaming, the wise person and healing light therapy included in the more technical diploma course. Also incorporated are aspects of NLP, the mind body connection and success training.

You should keep in mind that the Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (Part 2) is an intensive hypnotherapy training course. The knowledge and experience you acquired in the certificate will be developed quickly into the skills necessary for the application of clinical hypnotherapy in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and beyond. The practical foundation (Part 1) is essential to this progression. Although teaching will be traditional you will find ample time to practise every technique. In addition there will be tutorials, course work, practise, and group work.

LCCH Malaysia will provide you with much more than an armoury of hypnotherapy tools and techniques. We also ensure that would-be hypnotherapy practitioners recognise, and apply, within a hypnotic context, the treatment most appropriate to their patient / client and the condition itself. This is done by means of clinical studies, personal supervision and continuous assessment throughout the Internationally recognised Diploma Course.

All students fall under the code of ethics laid down by the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH). As a Diploma student you will also be required to join this professional body. Membership will develop from affiliate status (student) to Associate membership once you have passed the Diploma course. Students are permitted to practice under supervision and full membership is awarded upon completion of the Practitioner's course. The LCCH will provide every assistance to enable you to transfer your classroom experience into consulting room application. Supervision will continue after graduation and help for a difficult case will always be available to you. In addition the BSCH has launched the Asian division - BSCH (Asia) specifically to assist students beginning their careers in Asia.

Your hypnotherapy training is completed with the Practitioner's course. This final part of the course must be completed within two years of the Diploma (stage 2). The Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (stage 3) is designed to equip the qualified practitioners with the latest hypnotherapeutic techniques for dealing with a wider range of medical, psychological and somatic problems.

You will learn advanced hypnotic induction techniques, deepeners and dissociative approaches, solution focused therapy, therapeutic techniques for children, quantum therapy, strategic paradoxical therapeutic intervention, EMDR and clinical applications of hypnosis in the treatment of somatic and psychogenic disorders. The LCCH adheres to the philosophy that we are responsible for our emotions, behaviours, thoughts and psychosomatic symptoms. The psychotherapeutic models and techniques taught enable practitioners to better assist their patients by helping them to understand and change their unhealthy emotional states, and self-limiting behaviours, into healthy emotional states and self-helping behaviours.
