Sheila Menon

Sheila Menon is the Principal of the LCCH in Asia-Australia and has pioneered the introduction of clinical hypnosis to Singapore and Asia. She is a consultant clinical hypnotherapist at University Malaya working closely with the orthopedic department. Sheila is the International editor for the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and has been awarded a Fellowship to the British Association for Medical Hypnosis for outstanding contribution to this field.
Qualified as a behavioural psychologist Sheila worked for local authority (UK) and became a founder member for a charity for children at risk in 1982. She has been involved with clinical hypnosis for twenty years which includes lecturing first at Basford Hospital and then for the LCCH. She is founder of the LCCH Therapy Center in Asia - KL and Singapore and works closely with the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia. Her own approach to hypnotherapy is solution focused and she has combined many different models to create a highly original and successful international approach to hypnosis and therapy. She is a founder member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis in Asia introducing safe effective clinical hypnosis to both Singapore and Malaysia. In her commitment to safe practice Sheila has established the first professional indemnity insurance policy for practitioners of clinical hypnosis in Asia. |

Peter Mabbutt

Peter originally trained
in Psychopharmacology, he has spent over 20 years undertaking research
in the field of anxiety-based conditions and their treatment. As
well as being responsible for updating the LCCH course to incorporate
new techniques and research, Peter teaches a Special Studies Module
(SSM) in Clinical Hypnosis for the St. Bartholomews Hospital,
Royal London Hospital, and Queen Mary, University of London Medical
School. He is the Clinical Hypnotherapist for the Guys Hospital,
St. Thomas Hospital Health Education and Lifestyle Therapy
for Hypertension initiative. Peter is a founder Fellow of the British
Association of Medical Hypnosis.

Dr Anna
MD, Ph.D, MDCH, FBAMH
Medical Director
Dr Anna is a Doctor of Medicine who has trained at the USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow. She received her Degree of Professor of Neuropsychology in 1984 after working as a research assistant with Prof. A.R. Luria at his Department of Neuropsychology and Psychiatry, Moscow. She has been practising as a consultant hypnotherapist for over fifteen years and now lectures for the LCCH on the neurophysiological aspects of hypnosis.

Angela Trainer

Principal, Scotland
Angela graduated from Glasgow University in 1980 with a degree in Psychology. She specialises in obsessive compulsive disorders (OCDs), the eradication of unwanted habits, women's issues, and the successful treatment of eating disorders. Angela is Stress Management consultant to several large corporations and regional authorities and has her own radio programme - 'Alternative Answers' - in Glasgow.
